Kathrin started her Yoga Journey in 2010 when she embarked on a Study in Daoism with the focus on Daoyin and Taiji.
Originally from Germany, Kathrin left her Country when she was 19 years old. She moved to Ireland where she undertook a 4 year Bachelor Marketing Study. After she completed her study and not drawn to corporate life yet, she opened her own Café in Galway, West of Ireland. The Café was a Space for Art Exhibitions and Cultural Events.
After several years in the catering industry, Kathrin moved to Amsterdam in 2006. While working in Sales, she undertook a 3 year Daoist/ Chinese Sport and Medicine Study. This is where she learned how a daily meditative practice can bring about a level of peace and calm that serves in dealing with daily life challenges.
After finishing her study, Kathrin completed a Teacher Training in Vinyasa Yoga in 2012. While practicing and teaching Vinyasa Yoga, Kathrin took her first Ashtanga Class in 2013 and immediately fell in love with this style of Yoga and has been practicing it ever since.
Dedicated to this tradition, Kathrin completed the 200Hrs Ashtanga Teacher Training with Delight Yoga, a further 100Hrs training on the Path of Ashtanga Yoga and a 50Hrs Ashtanga Intermediate Series workshop under the guidance of her teachers Claudia Pradella and Eva Ugolini.
Kathrin considers Ashtanga Yoga as a lifelong journey in order to cope with Life’s challenges and to create a balance in everything that is approached. She is dedicated on her teaching path to touch and inspire others in order to bring about Happiness and Growth.
