Katka discovered yoga quite unexpectedly. While taking time off and traveling after her studies she found herself on a Caribbean beach in an impromptu yoga class, and immediately knew that something had shifted in her life forever. Not long after that she was introduced to meditation, this time while out sailing.
Since then yoga and meditation have become the foundation of her daily spiritual practice. The practice taught her to let go of many attachments that stood in the way of her happiness and she learned to enjoy and experience her own mind and body in new ways. After her return to The Netherlands in 2012 she trained to be a yoga teacher, specializing in Yin and Vinyasa. Her personal practice leans heavily on daily meditations and awareness practices.
