When Lydia rolled out her mat for her very first yoga class in her hometown Berlin, it was immediately clear: She wanted more of it! After a few years of continuous and intensive yoga practice, she completed a Yoga Alliance certified yoga teacher training, which made her an even more passionate yoga student and ultimately qualified her as a yoga teacher.
Afterwards Lydia set off for India to discover the traditional origins of yoga, to get to know the country and its people and, last but not least, to take part in an advanced Yoga Teacher Training, also certified by the Yoga Alliance.
Due to a shoulder injury and thus compulsive break from her active yoga practice, Lydia completed a Restorative Yoga Teacher Training with Adelene Cheong, which gave her so much more than just theory and practice on her way - rather, this was a journey to herself and to more self-love.
As Lydia is inspired by the Japanese concept of Wabi Sabi which focuses on finding beauty within the imperfections of life and accepting the natural cycle of growth and decay, she wants everybody to join her classes as they are - pure, complete and already perfect.
Since Lydia is a passionate Sound Practitioner as well she combines Yoga and Sound. In her Restorative Yoga Classes you can expect grounding and heart opening sequences accompanied by relaxing sounds of Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls. The sound is a great opportunity to find an access to deeper, inner peace and pure relaxation.
For Lydia, yoga means to always open up new insights and to never stop learning. She would like to pass on and share her love for yoga and sound, what she has learned over the years, and the countless benefits we can reap from a continuous yoga practice.
