After many years working as Operations Manager at international advertising agencies, Malai decided to follow her heart and directed her energy into Yoga, meditation and massage.
With a background in martial arts, Malai has a deep passion for physical and mental balance. This fascination has introduced her to many cultures, teachings and places around the world. Visiting spiritual and remote areas of countries such as Nepal, Myanmar, India, Thailand, Laos and Cambodia, her journey eventually led to the art of Thai Yoga Massage.
Thai Yoga massage offers a healing treatment based on a combination of Yoga, massage, mindfulness and acupressure. She firmly believes in the healing power of this combination that makes Thai Yoga Massage so effective. Malai is a certified Thai Yoga masseuse, having completed multiple Thai Yoga Massage and related trainings such as: ‘Thai Yoga massage / Nuad Boran’ Level 1 & 2 (Manuel Luque Aguilera and Nicole van Zurk - ITM), ‘Ayurveda Thai Yoga Therapy’ (Kam Thye Chow - Sunshine, Chiang Mai), ‘Yin Yoga & Anatomy’ Level 1 & 2 (José de Groot - Delight Yoga) and ‘Thai Table Massage’ (Manuel Luque Aguilera - ITM). She is passionate about helping people. Now, with Thai Yoga massage she wants to help identify, eliminate and prevent stressful factors, restoring the body’s natural balance and ones’ state of mind.
