Working the first half of her twenties as a fashion buyer, she quite soon learned the hard way that her journey through life was not based in an office. A burn-out and some life-altering decisions completely changed her vision of the meaning of life. She started a mindfulness course, increased her time spend on her yoga practice and sought guidance from a spiritual coach.
After a few years of travelling the world, temporary jobs and lots of Yoga, she found her first teacher training with Sampoorna Yoga in Goa, India. With a love for strong flow yoga, this Astanga Vinyasa training in the motherland of Yoga was perfect for her. Ever since, she has been continuing to grow and educate herself through books, various workshops and additional teacher trainings like Yin and Thai Yoga Massage.
Inspired amongst others by Jivamukti Yoga, Jason Crandell and Moena de Jong. She now does what she loves most; move through life trying to help others evolve beyond society’s and the mind’s restrictions into a life of happiness, fulfilment and joy. Through creative and fun flows she takes you on a journey of deep connection to the physical and spiritual bodies.
With a focus on tensegrity throughout the movement, you’ll be creating a beautiful and safe balance of strength and flexibility. Leaving you feeling energized, refreshed and calm. Her classes can be challenging, yet are always accessible to all levels. They reflect her vision of life: lighthearted, fun and not always taking things too seriously. It’s the practice of joyfulness.
