Simone’s Yoga journey started in 2015 after traveling to India and reading about Buddhism and Hinduism for the first time. At that time, Simone was in her second year of her academic studies and for the duration of her studies, she lived a double life: being a full-time student and living a life full of stress and a-not-so healthy lifestyle while at the same time being a part-time astanga yogi waking up early to do her yoga practice every morning. It took some time - and a burn-out - before the two worlds merged and became one.
In 2019, Simone started a Yin Yang Yoga teacher training and she enthusiastically immersed herself in Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese medicine and Reiki to heal herself physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. As she healed herself, the seed was also planted to start sharing her wisdom with others.
Simone has been teaching Yin, Yin Yang and Restorative yoga ever since and she curiously continues to delve into the deeper wisdom of the body, mind and spirit. Simone’s classes are soft and grounding and there’s a strong emphasis on coming back to your natural self as Simone believes that the ‘true’ wisdom is already inside, we only have to listen.
