Originally from Mexico, Tulip moved to the Netherlands in 2020. She studied contemporary dance in Mexico, philosophy and literature at the University of Guanajuato, and theater at the Veracruz University in Xalapa, Ver. Mexico
Tulip has been practicing yoga for more 20 years and has been teaching yoga for 14 years. She has explored various yoga styles and has certifications in Viniyoga, Anusara and Parinnama (yoga for addictions). She decided to explore the area of massage as a tool to understand more about anatomy and the mechanics of the body and to help her students to heal injuries.
Her yoga classes are usually dynamic and flowing towards the Vinyasa Flow, but given her experience and the variety of techniques she has learned (from therapeutic and restorative to Ashtanga and Vinyasa), classes can be very varied depending on the group. She has the ability to observe and create an environment where participants can break the perception they have of themselves as to their own yoga practice, and are encouraged to challenge themselves and listen to their bodies.
Her own project for 8 years in Mexico was teach yoga in prisions to the interns and giving them tools to work in there internal prison."
