At first combining her calling with a hectic job in communications, Wendy has worked as a massage therapist and yoga teacher for 6 years now. Since 2013 she has been working fulltime at what she likes doing most: getting people to move, through massage, yoga, coaching and personal training. With passion and enthusiasm she pushes people to explore their physical and mental limits.
Wendy has found that Yoga helps her to get a grip on reality in turbulent times. She has found inspiration with Patanjali, Sarah Powers, Shiva Rea and Maya Fiennes. She has taken teacher trainings at De Nieuwe Yogaschool, with José de Groot and Helen Purperhart.
‘I love showing people that yoga is so much more that being able to reach your toes. I like to flirt with different yoga styles. But I have a passion for yin yoga because in a soft way it allows you to go deep very fast.’
Wendy teaches yin yoga and gives massages. She has specialized in working with athletes and pregnant women. Her classes are characterized by a quiet and soft approach with full attention to the individual.
