Kundalini Yoga is a well-balanced flow of artful sequencing, breathing exercises (Pranayama), spinal strengthening (Kriyas), and Mantra Meditations (chanting) to facilitate an emotionally connected practice designed to reduce stress and spark life energy and creativity.

About Kundalini

Kundalini yoga works on the principle that our physical body and our energy move hand in hand. While other branches of yoga focus primarily on physical postures, Kundalini yoga focuses on how the postures alter your energy and mindset.

In Sanskrit, kundalini means “coiled snake.” In early Eastern religion, it was believed that divine energy was created at the base of the spine. It’s energy we are born with, and Kundalini works to “uncoil the snake” and connect us to this divine energy within.

About studio

This yoga studio is located on the South side of Amsterdam city centre and has a beautiful view of the Rijksmuseum. At this location, you can practice Vinyasa, Ashtanga Led, Hatha, Yin, Yin Yang, Yoga Nidra, Healing Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Prenatal Yoga and Circular Breathing. The studio has two large yoga shalas. Please note that this is the only Delight Yoga studio without showers.
