Online Silent Sit Morning Meditation

Monday to Friday morning we gather together for a Silent Morning Meditation via Zoom. The first 15 minutes are guided and the remaining 30 minutes we will be together in Silence. The guidance will support us to be at ease and relax into the field of the body.

This will set the tone for inquiry and contemplation into who or what we really are, at the core of our being. Beliefs we formed about how life should and shouldn’t be, habitual patterns and trauma may hinder us from plunging into our Essence-Awareness. These feelings of unease and long hold tensions we can meet as raw sensations in the body, at the moment they arise. Subsequently giving space to that experience, so that it can slowly release from our system.

As a direct consequence, the light of Presence can help us to release tension, surrender and let go. No longer manipulating our experience in any way but allowing everything to be exactly as it is, so Life can flow through us, in all its forms. Then we start to remember our Essence and recognize that we are always the space for all the forms and experiences. Realizing that we have a choice in each moment: Clinging to an experience or True freedom? The time is Now to be who you truly are so that we can play and celebrate this mystery called Life.

Inge Peters

Inge Peters started practicing meditation in her early twenties. While being a filmstudent, she was looking for more peace of mind and for ‘Truth’, which led her to meditation. She studied at Brahma Kumaris, Rigpa (Sogyal Rinpoche) and practiced Vipassana meditation. In 2000 Inge met her first yogateacher Katiza Satya Ivulic, who invited her to the yogaclass and the yogajourney began. Just a few years later Inge enrolled in a teacher training with Katiza and Hilary Brown, to deepen her understanding of the yogapractice and philosophy. It wasn’t until a second training in 2005 that she felt ready to teach. Right from the beginning of her yogajourney Inge developed a very strong selfpractice. She believes, true knowing and understanding comes from experience and selfinquiry. For long, her main focus was (Ashtanga) Vinyasa Yoga, but she also studied other variations. In 2009 Inge got an accident that prevented her from practicing any kind of strong physical Yoga. That’s when she discovered Yin Yoga (and restorative yoga), which helped her heal. It felt she rediscovered yoga and it’s philosophy on a whole new level. In 2012 Inge was fully recovered and started teaching yoga full time. By teaching Yinyoga she found her voice, it gives her the opportunity to slow down and dive deeper. She loves to tell stories, using Buddhist teachings and life experience to take students with her on a journey inward. Currently Inge teaches Yin Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga and Yin Yang. The intention is all the same: connecting with your true self. Besides teaching Inge gives Ayurvedic Yoga Massages. At the moment she studies Yogatherapy (Svastha).

Sjoerd Dragtsma
Sjoerd Dragtsma
Online / Amsterdam, Weteringschans
After flirting with yoga in his twenties, this time (2015) he was naturally and unavoidable drawn into the yogic fire. The sacred Amazone ceremonies gave Sjoerd many glimpses about what it means to be a human being, to live with other beings and how we tend to keep ourselves small and ‘secure’. More insight and embodiment came when he underwent a 500-hour ‘Delight Yoga Teacher Training’ with Katiza Satya Ivulic and Kevin Sahaj in 2016-2018. Under their guidance, the real peeling of the layers of conditioning started. More trainings, self-discovery retreats, plant ceremony’s, Vipassana and Baghavad Gita study groups were a result of this deep urge of wanting to know the Truth of what we are. Sjoerd feels a deep gratitude for his teachers guiding him on this great discovery. He explains this inward-journey as a remembrance; something that was always there, but was forgotten for quite some time. Sjoerd’s classes are modestly influenced by his parallel shamanic path and have an emphasis on the meditative and healing aspects of yoga. Stripping away any goals and expectations, and inviting you to just simply Be present. Giving space to whatever arises and start seeing things for what they really are. Sometimes he likes to use instruments during his classes as sound is a true ‘soul mover’ for him.
